Here is my latest project.

It's a campaign desk.

It makes a great desk top organizer, but more than that it is portable. So now when I am working in my role as Cabinet Treasurer for the 46 separate Lions Clubs I serve, this goes with me. I used it this Saturday and loved it.

Not bad for $20 worth of stained plywood and hardware from Lowes.

I'd like to thank all the ambitious artists who understand that they can make their own sculpting materials and be free of the fear and trappings of the commercial wax market.

The truth is that everyone's taste is different. I keep saying that modeling or sculpting wax is much more like wine or cheese.

Our recipe manual gives you a range that is not available on the commercial market. And that is the long and short of it.

Do you want to be dependent on companies that only sell to make money.... Or do you desire to find a material that allows what you do as an artist?

Yes, making your own wax is as much of a pain as :
Homemade soap = the best !
Homemade libations = heard it's good :-)
A good home cooked meal .... Yes it is that easy once your have done your grocery shopping.

Rock solid as a wall.... New leaning sculpting center

Since it completes a pyramid from the floor to a wall, my new leaning sculpt center takes up very little floor space, but is as solid ad it comes.

When opened, the hinged front provides an elbow rest ...  as well as catch shavings and such. When closed it hides random tools and such.
